Manipulatives Distribution Grades PreK - 2
Crestwood will be distributing math and literacy materials to students in Grades PreK, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd, on Monday, October 26th from 12:15 to 3:15. If you have more than 1 student, you can pick up at the time of the oldest student. When picking up materials please be sure to abide by social distancing guides lines and please wear a mask.

Parent Permission Required for Student Use of Digital Resources
At Crestwood Elementary, our teachers will use a variety of digital resources to support student learning and promote communication and collaboration with students and families. Some of the digital resources students may use this year will require your consent before they can be used. Please visit the page and complete the parental consent form for digital resources as soon as possible, as your child will not be able to use the digital resources until we have received your permission.
Parent Technology Help Desk
To support families who are working with their children during distance learning, Fairfax County Public Schools now has a Parent Technology Help Desk. The number is 1-833-921-3277 (833-921-FCPS). It will be answered by staff 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. If the help desk is unable to solve the issue on the phone with the parent or guardian, they will enter a ticket on the parent’s behalf and the request for help will be transferred to the appropriate FCPS team.
Student Health and Safety Guidance
Consistent with Governor Northam’s phased reopening plan for Virginia schools, and guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) has provided guidance to staff regarding school health practices for students.
Free Meal Program for All FCPS Students
Grab and Go service hours are 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) with both breakfast and lunch being served at the same time. Bus routes for food distribution are operating Monday through Friday beginning at 6:30 a.m. Specific information about meal distribution locations and bus distribution schedules are available.
FCPS Video on Wearing a Face Mask
Correctly wearing and removing a face covering is important information for all students. The following video addresses the steps that each student must take to keep themselves safe as they wear and remove their required face covering. Additional translations will be available soon.
